AHA Studio offers professional architectural services specializing in new houses and alterations + additions in Perth Western Australia. Our core ethos is to partner with you in that journey, we guide you through the process and we are there at the end when we celebrate the finished home together. Along the way you will meet the many people involved that are needed to realise each project, from Our Staff, to Product Suppliers, Builders, Tradesman and Consultants . Each part is integral to the build process - and of equal importance. Most new clients have never used an Architect before and we understand that making the decision to engage an Architect requires the right ingredients. So for us this is about understanding your brief and crafting a house that is unique for you.

Authentic

For us the most important element of all housing is to design each new house to suit you and your everyday living. The house has to support your daily rituals, celebrate your identity and also offer ways to live that perhaps you have just not been able to realise before. There are also those magic little moments that an Architect can bring to your home - the ones where you can’t quite explain why you like the way a certain afternoon spot captivates your particular mood. It’s those little moments that set an Architect Designed Home apart.

We believe that every home we design has to be well designed but also well built. We love working with talented craftsman, and we believe strongly that each person that works on your house has to consider it as if it was their own. We believe in highly resolved design and detailing and we always seek out unique approaches to materials and construction techniques that will suit each new project.

We see ourselves as problem solvers. We love a challenge, whether that be a small site, a difficult heritage project or even a large blank canvas - they all present their owners with the same challenge of how best to respond to the issues at hand and solve them with aplomb.

Sustainable

For us sustainability encompasses the three core ideals of economics, environmental and social impact. In terms of your home these are best described as the cost, how does the house perform and does the home fit within it’s surrounding community. To us your home also has to nurture and protect its inhabitants and extended family. By sustaining life and daily rituals we belief our clients take a longer term view to occupying their new home.

So how do we achieve all this? Well it starts by being highly qualified to do this work for you. We are not just Architects but we are also Registered Builders in Western Australia. So we not only understand good design, but we also understand how to put things together well. We are also a full service practice, meaning we undertake all stages of the project on your behalf, from initial brief formulation to handing over the keys to your new home.
